Demonstration Summaries Defined

In an effort to provide continuing education to growers throughout the country, Monsanto has developed Learning Centers in three different locations. Each Learning Center offers various Demonstration Summaries. The three locations are positioned throughout the United States to offer regionalized education relatable to each area. The Learning Center in Monmouth, IL, serves as the resource for areas east of central Iowa and Minnesota. The Learning Center in Gothenburg, NE, deals with areas west of central Iowa, where soil types are different. The Learning Center in Scott, MS, focuses on the coastal regions from southern Colorado along the gulf coast and up through Virginia.

Similar to a field day, growers can make an appointment to visit these Learning Centers to learn about existing technologies and new products that are not yet available for purchase. Monsanto agronomists have compiled the results from each Demonstration Summary so growers have a resource to refer to when looking to increase profitability.

The Monmouth Learning Center Demonstration Summaries focus on producing the highest yields possible in corn and soybeans. The Gothenburg Learning Center Demonstration Summaries focus on dry planting conditions and water management. The Scott Learning Center Demonstration Summaries emphasize the latest agronomic practices, like weed management, and provide reports specific to soybeans, cotton and corn. Growers can implement prospective agronomic tactics learned at each of these centers to improve their farm’s performance. The learning centers are open throughout the year in order to help farmers achieve maximum yield potential. See below for links to information about each individual Demonstration Summary.
