Late Burndown Options North & South - Soybeans, Corn and Cotton

Ideally, weeds should be managed 4 to 6 weeks prior to planting to allow time for decomposition of plant material, but burndown applications made this early may not always be possible. If an early burndown application window is missed, it is still important to apply a burndown herbicide application prior to planting. Due to plant-back restrictions of some commonly used burndown herbicides, alternative herbicide recommendations may be considered when applying a late burndown application on fields that will be planted to soybeans or cotton.
